Randy Schoof, a longtime friend of mine who pastors Warehouse Church
in Aurora, Illinois just sent out another great newsletter. In it he
quoted something I think worth sharing-
reminder that the world is really quite a nice place. It reminds us
that the world is a shockingly bad old place… Christmas is God
lighting a candle; and you don’t light a candle in a room that’s
already full of sunlight.'” I will only add that even in moments of rest, reflection and focused
worship of the Lord- which is key and core to Christ-followers at
Christmas… even over the holidays, by actually serving others we
